Every QR code type encodes its data in a specific format so scanners open it in the right app right away — maps for a location, contacts for a vCard, the dialer for a phone number, WhatsApp for a chat link. Picking the right type matters: a 'Website' QR with a phone number works, but a 'Phone' QR is what makes the dial confirmation show up the moment someone scans it. Sharing your identity? vCard, Email, Phone, SMS, WhatsApp. Connecting people to a place or moment? WiFi, Location, Event. Pushing your brand? Facebook, LinkedIn, Social, Rating, Business Page.
